Astigmatism

Astigmatism occurs when the cornea is Astigmatism - Blurred or Distorted Visionslightly oval shaped (instead of spherical like a ball). This causes light rays that enter the eye to bend irregularly, and focus at several different points in the eye. People with significant astigmatism experience blurred or distorted vision for objects both near and far.
