Dr. Paul Dougherty - Los Angeles Refractive Surgery Expert

Dr. Paul Dougherty is renown worldwide in the Refractive Surgery field.  He is currently the medical director of Dougherty Laser Vision, with offices in Los Angeles (Brentwood and Hancock Park), Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Santa Barbara.

Dr. Dougherty had LASIK himself in January 1997. As such, he was one of the first ophthalmologists in the US to have LASIK on his own eyes. Since then, he has had perfect vision in both eyes without glasses or contacts. As a doctor who experienced the LASIK procedure first hand, Dr. Dougherty can relate to patients' concerns and answer their questions with unique insight and perspective.

Here is a summation of his background and professional accomplishments in the field of Refractive Surgery.
